Part B (Medical Insurance)
- It provides assistance in paying for the services of the “doctors and other health care providers, outpatient care, home health care, durable medical care equipment, and some preventive services”.
The SSA Medicare is open for individuals who are age 65 and above. In applying for it, you have the option if you want to take the Original Medicare which is comprised by the Hospital Insurance and the Medical Insurance or you only wish to get the Part A or the Hospital Insurance alone.
